The Kristian Alexandrov Trio

Rounding out the double bill at Tim Hortons Downtown this year will be the high energy, funk-infused stylings of the Kristian Alexandrov Trio.

Kristian has just been named Pianist/Keyboardist of the Year at the Canadian Smooth Jazz Awards and has worked with the likes of Randy Brecker, Eric Marienthal, Bob Mintzer and Tommy Banks. He has been composer and musical director for Calgary’s Decidedly Jazz Danceworks for the past 10 years.

He and his high energy trio F.U.J.A. are the band for Vancouver powerhouse vocalist Shannon Gaye. Appearing with Kristian are Ben Harries on bass and Andy Ericson on drums.
