JazzFest Volunteers

The Medicine Hat JazzFest is now accepting new volunteers for the 2008 festival. This is an opportunity to be involved in a dynamic and exciting cultural event. It offers the opportunity to meet musicians from all over the world and work together with a team of committed people who have been presenting a world-class festival to Medicine Hat for the past 10 years.

Jobs opportunities include venue workers, sound and equipment assistants, drivers, cooks, banner hangers and set up and tear down crews.

Some areas benefit from previous experience, but for the most part, we are looking for people eager to work and to make a contribution to their community.

Perks, besides those mentioned above, depend on the level of involvement but include a T-shirt, a wind-up party/concert (this year’s concert will be one of the musical highlights of the festival).
